Our Farm

Come on out and experience the Christmas season the old-fashioned way. We have a Christmas shop (music supplied) with wreaths, many vintage Christmas items, as well as pottery by our daughter, Stephanie. We offer free tree shaking, baling, hot cider and chocolate. We are open on weekends only between Thanksgiving and Christmas from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. The best number to call during operating hours is (703) 759-3039 (cell).

Our farm is situated in the rolling hills of the Virginia Piedmont in Madison County. The farm sits at the base of two mountains, has several miles of streams, 80 acres in hardwood forest and numerous species of wildlife including (but not limited to): song birds, owls, wild turkeys, red tailed hawks, deer, red foxes, blue heron, turtles and an occasional sighting of a bald eagle. We have beautiful winter views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from some of our fields.

We are committed to the conservation of the land, water, wildlife and air quality on our farm and have worked with the Virginia Department of Forestry and others to develop forest and land management plans that support that commitment. We do not use “restricted” chemicals on our land or trees and try to use fertilizes in a responsible manner. We are increasing the number of new Christmas tree seedlings that we plant each year in order to provide a greater variety of trees for our customers and to support our desire to be good stewards of the land.

Come on out and experience the Christmas season the old fashioned way. We have a Christmas Shop where recorded music is provided. We shake trees under 10 feet. If you pick a tree from the field, we supply the bow saws (please no chain saws), you supply the elbow grease. We also have a variety of pre cut trees that are usually cut the week before Thanksgiving.

It is sincere our hope, that our customers not only find a tree to their liking, but enjoy the peace and beauty of the farm.
