In 1999 my wife and I executed on a long time desire to be Christmas Tree farmers. We acquired our first parcel of land in 1999 and have spent the last 20 years planting trees, managing risks, clearing fields, improving the nutritional and organic content of the soil, installing roads, constructing stream crossings, building barns and fences and acquiring the necessary equipment and supplies needed to operate a working Christmas tree farm. We are seeing the fruits of our labor and now have a successful working and growing Christmas Tree Farm. We have seen some of our trees grow from a foot to trees over 20 feet in height and have watched our customer base increase every year.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Spruce Rock Farm will close for the 2020 Christmas tree season as of 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Accordingly, we have suspended the online store and appointments options on our website effective as of 10:00 am, December 7, 2020.
While this year has certainly been a trying one for many, we have been encouraged and uplifted by the visits of so many new and returning customers who, in spite of our Covid19 protection practices, have been upbeat, happy and generally having a good time at the farm.
As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ on earth, we wish everyone peace, happiness, health and better times in the ensuing new year.
