Seasons greetings everyone!
Did you know that we have a good selection of Pre-cut Fraser Firs in addition to the trees that grow in our fields? Our Fraser Firs are personally selected by Tim Williams from VCTGA member farms that have elevations high enough to grow them. These trees are generally cut the week before Thanksgiving and range from 7 feet to 9 and 1/2 feet.
Fraser Firs are known for their good needle retention, aroma and their ability to handle most ornaments.
With their consent, here is a picture of a family visiting our Farm last Saturday and standing next to theIr Fraser Fir tree.
Free shaking and baling is available.
Spruce Rock Farm will close for the 2020 Christmas tree season as of 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Accordingly, we have suspended the online store and appointments options on our website effective as of 10:00 am, December 7, 2020.
While this year has certainly been a trying one for many, we have been encouraged and uplifted by the visits of so many new and returning customers who, in spite of our Covid19 protection practices, have been upbeat, happy and generally having a good time at the farm.
As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ on earth, we wish everyone peace, happiness, health and better times in the ensuing new year.
