As we are nearing the beginning of the best season of the year, it’s a good idea to start thinking of ways to spend the time with your family. Going to a Christmas tree farm is a great idea to get the family together to enjoy nature and the holiday season.
Spruce Rock Farm has all kinds of amenities to enjoy the season. We have several kinds of trees, as well. One of those trees is the Scotch Pine. If you’re into the nostalgic look of your Christmas tree, this is definitely one to consider, as it was popular in the 1950s and 1960s. These are great to decorate, and the needle retention is on the better end of the spectrum. For more details on this particular tree, and all the other ones we offer, take a look at our website. However, if you’re interested in the Scotch Pine, don’t hesitate: we have only planted a limited number of these beauties.
Spruce Rock Farm is located in Brightwood, VA. You can reach us by phone at 540-543-2309. Our hours are weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve from 10:00am to 4:00 pm. Weekdays – by appointment only. Bring the entire family to Spruce Rock Farm, a Christmas Tree Farm in Virginia, and experience Christmas the old fashion way.
Spruce Rock Farm will close for the 2020 Christmas tree season as of 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Accordingly, we have suspended the online store and appointments options on our website effective as of 10:00 am, December 7, 2020.
While this year has certainly been a trying one for many, we have been encouraged and uplifted by the visits of so many new and returning customers who, in spite of our Covid19 protection practices, have been upbeat, happy and generally having a good time at the farm.
As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ on earth, we wish everyone peace, happiness, health and better times in the ensuing new year.
