It’s the middle of the best month of the year (December!) and we are pleased to have so many visitors to our farm. A visit our farm is as close as you can get to visiting Santa himself! The festive atmosphere is a great place to bring your family for a wonderful trip this holiday season.
If you haven’t decided on a Christmas tree yet, it’s getting close to the big day. If you’re wondering which type of tree to get, look no further than the Concolor Fir. The Concolor Fir is also known as the White Fir. This tree is known as feeling soft because of its “fleshy” silver-blue needles. This tree has great needle rentention and smells wonderfully of citrus. The ornament retention of this tree is good, and the best place for it is in a spacious area because of its size. We have a limited number of trees, especially this close to Christmas. If you aren’t able to get the tree that you had wanted, we have many other types as well. We are also planting more of each tree for next year, so have no worries.
Spruce Rock Farm is located in Brightwood, VA. You can reach us by phone at 540-543-2309. Our hours are weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve from 10:00am to 4:00 pm. Weekdays – by appointment only. Bring the entire family to Spruce Rock Farm, a Christmas Tree Farm in Virginia, and experience Christmas the old fashion way.

While this year has certainly been a trying one for many, we have been encouraged and uplifted by the visits of so many new and returning customers who, in spite of our Covid19 protection practices, have been upbeat, happy and generally having a good time at the farm.
As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ on earth, we wish everyone peace, happiness, health and better times in the ensuing new year.
